Our pumpkin greenhouse is full of beautiful pumpkins in every shape, size, and color! Today, we are sharing five simple tips to keep your pumpkins lasting longer once you get them home.

Five simple tips to keeping your pumpkins lasting longer:
Choose carefully. Pick pumpkins that are firm and do not have cuts or damage.
September and early October can still be hot in Middle Tennessee. Try to keep your pumpkins in part shade or shade rather than the hot sun all day.
3. Keep your pumpkins dry. They do not need to sit directly on the wet ground.
Place your pumpkins on straw bales, a porch table, or even a tray, for example. It improves airflow and keeps them drier.
Do not hold your pumpkins by the stems. Hold them by the base to prevent the stem from accidentally breaking off.
